I have been working at the art gallery at Ion and i must say that i like it alot!
Introducing the visitors to the meaning behind the works, the cleanness and the heart to heart talks with my fellow colleagues (who happen to speak very well). Sort of like a Dream part time job! note that i said part time as i dont really want to do this as a full time job as it is too relaxing for my taste. oh dear i dont want my job to be too hectic and i also dont want it to be relaxing. goodness gracious me! Anyway, in my short 3 days here, we talked about being blind and also the amount of suicide/accidents cases in singapore.

Why such sadistic topics you ask. Well its because one of the artists happen to be visually impaired, not from birth by the way. This makes me quite frightened :( I hope that I and everyone around me will live healthily throughout our lives. I hope that there will be a cure for blindness in time to come:(
My colleague's fiance happens to be a fireman. Its not something that i hear everyday. He has witnessed things unimaginable, eg, a primary 5 little girl commiting suicide from the 10th storey when she saw the fire truck arriving. She said that there are around 5 suicide cases/week in singapore - many are not published in the news. This is pretty darn drastic if you ask me and im not sure if shes exxagerating or not.

sigh.

I realised that the idea for my 1st project is good. but i made it very messy looking. :( chances are not very high for it to be displayed at next year's natas fair. I'll still edit it in school tomorrow though. Hopefully i will think of a way to showcase the concept and still make it appealing.

Off i go to do research on the 80's now. Thats my chosen topic for my FYP!!! quite excited to start hahaha! ok bye.
