My Ahma joined my Ahgong at 4 in the morning, on the 29th of December. She passed peacefully, in her room, in my ah ma house, where i have had many nostalgic memories. Thanks Mary for trying to revive her, by giving her CPR, doing all you can. I'm glad my granny crossed over in her home sweet home and not some hospital.
My last memory with my Ah ma was of my family buying prawn mee from Old Airport Road for her. She loved it alot, especially the 2 prawns, which she peeled by herself. I love it alot too. That was almost 2 weeks ago, just before we went for our holiday. It's weird, how life just changes, in a short period of time.
She has been a sweet, firm and kind Ahma, and I will miss her chuckling voice so very very much. Ahma house will no longer be the same without her. I hope that Ahma house will still remain Ahma house where we can gather every year and not be sold.
Never again can I say "Ah ma, Le Ho Bo?(Grandma, How are you?)" .. I miss her so much.
