Langkawi 10/06/2011 - 13/06/2011; Our very eventful holiday - yellow tap water, fresh air, sunny days, beautiful landscapes, yummy yummy food (esp the Thai food), cows, monkeys, late night chit chats over milk tea, cute guys here and there, an almost broken down rented car, some shopping, lots of chocolates, hot springs, super clean beach - i went 'under the sea' for the first time!, super relaxing lifestyle (too relaxing for me i'd say).
We met a few people of interest during our stay there, our tour guide - we called him Uncle Boon - told us many stories of Langkawi and his sons, Mr. Seafood - a waiter we met at one of Langkawi's many Seafood restaurants, Mr Peanut - an air steward we met on the plane on the way back to Singapore. He would have been known as Mr Ferrero Rocher had he been more daring but,, alas, he shall be known as Mr Peanut.
Langkawi is certainly a great contrast and escape from the Singapore. I highly recommend a retreat to such places every few months.
Picture time!
....to be continued.
